As a Drone Pilot at ideaForge, you will be responsible for safely and effectively operating our drones for various missions including aerial surveys, inspections, and data collection. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects by executing precise and efficient flight operations.Responsibilities:1. Conduct Pre-flight Checks: Perform thorough pre-flight inspections on drones to ensurethey are in optimal condition for operation.2. Plan and Execute Missions: Work closely with project managers to plan and execute dronemissions, ensuring that objectives are met accurately and efficiently.3. Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth byrelevant aviation authorities and maintain a strong safety-first mindset throughout alloperations.4. Operate Drone Equipment: Skillfully operate a variety of drone models, including takeoff,landing, and maneuvering during flight.5. Monitor Flight Conditions: Keep a vigilant eye on weather conditions, airspacerestrictions, and any potential hazards that may affect flight operations.6. Data Collection and Analysis: Operate onboard sensors and cameras to collect data duringflights. Assist in the analysis and interpretation of collected data.7. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance on drones and equipment.Report any technical issues and assist in troubleshooting and repairs.8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of flight operations, includingflight logs, maintenance reports, and incident reports.Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.• Certifications: DGCA Certified Drone Pilot Certificate required. Additional certifications indrone operations and safety a plus.• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Drone Pilot, with a proven track record ofsuccessful flight operations.• Technical Skills: Proficient in operating various drone models and familiar with relevantsoftware for flight planning and data analysis.• Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations in droneoperations.• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during flightoperations.• Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other teammembers.
