You will be the first point of contact for inquiries and will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all callers.As a Healthcare Call Center Associate, you will handle a wide range of calls, including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, billing inquiries, and general information requests. You will utilize our internal systems and databases to accurately document and update patient records. Additionally, you will proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous mannerAssist callers with appointment scheduling and reschedulingVerify insurance coverage and benefits for patientsProvide accurate and up-to-date information about healthcare services and facilitiesCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient careDocument all interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM systemFollow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentialityContinuously develop knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures to provide accurate and relevant information to callersRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; bachelor s degree preferredProven experience in a customer service or call center environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProficient computer skills, including knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentCompassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help othersFamiliarity with healthcare terminology and medical insurance processes is a plus Powered by Webbtree
