Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining accurate applicant records and ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new hires.Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for candidate interactions, correspondence, and internal communications. Clear and professional communication is vital when conducting candidate interviews, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with the management team.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications is important for maintaining applicant records, preparing documents, and managing data. Familiarity with HR processes and systems is a plus but not required, as training may be provided for the right candidate.DutiesCall candidates and respond to email inquiriesManage advertising channels and application portalEvaluate employment applications and shortlistComplete screening phone calls and provide realistic job previewSchedule interviews and coordinate with managementConduct reference checks and other onboarding processesUpdate and maintain applicant records within various computer systemsAssist management team with other administrative duties, including meeting minutesRequirements2 years administrative and/or customer service experienceExperience in transportation and logistics industry an assetMinimum 21 years of age (required to be able to drive company vehicle)Class 5 driver s license and clean driving recordReliable transportationAttendance at a variety of work locations for interview and hiring eventsAbility to use various mobile and computer applications Powered by Webbtree
