DescriptionKABC-TV is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Artist/Broadcast Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your artistic skills and contribute to the visual identity of our station.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the news and production teams to create enticing and visually impactful on-air graphics for news programs, promotional materials, and commercialsDevelop and maintain a comprehensive library of design elements, fonts, and templates to ensure consistent branding across all platformsTranslate creative ideas and concepts into compelling visual designs using industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative SuiteGenerate and animate graphics, lower thirds, and other visual elements for live broadcasts and pre-recorded segmentsWork closely with reporters, writers, and producers to create engaging and informative infographics and data visualizationsTake ownership of assigned projects from concept to completion, ensuring accuracy and timelinessStay current with industry trends and techniques to continually elevate the visual quality of our on-air graphicsRequirementsBachelor s degree in graphic design or a related fieldProven experience as a graphic artist or broadcast designer, preferably in a television or media environmentProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After EffectsStrong understanding of motion graphics, typography, and color theoryKnowledge of video editing software, such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro, is a plusExcellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentA portfolio showcasing a range of design work and creativity Powered by Webbtree
