DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Desktop Support Technician to join our IS Client Services team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users within our organization. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring software applications, and maintaining computer systems and peripherals.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, and in-personDiagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devicesInstall, configure, and update software applications and operating systemsSet up and support user accounts, permissions, and security settingsCollaborate with other IT teams to ensure efficient and effective support servicesMaintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutionsAssist with the procurement and inventory management of IT hardware and softwareRequirements2+ years of experience in desktop support or a related roleExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop applicationsFamiliarity with Active Directory and network protocolsAbility to communicate technical solutions clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical usersStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsA+ certification or equivalent is preferredBachelor s degree in a related field is a plus Powered by Webbtree
