DescriptionWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Account Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the accounting department with various clerical tasks such as processing invoices, managing accounts receivable and payable, and reconciling bank statements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with numbers, possess strong communication skills, and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices and assist with accounts payable and receivableReconcile bank statements and other financial recordsMaintain accurate financial records and filesPerform general clerical duties such as filing and data entryAssist with month-end and year-end close processesCommunicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and payment inquiriesAssist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as neededRequirementsAssociate degree in Accounting or related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamFamiliarity with accounting software and systems is a plus.
