DescriptionWe are seeking a Conveyancing Clerk to join our team. As a Conveyancing Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transfer of property ownership from seller to buyer. Your duties will include organizing files, managing schedules, drafting correspondence, and researching property information. You will play an essential role in providing administrative support to the conveyancing department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and produce legal documents relating to property transactions, including completion statements, contracts, and other conveyancing paperwork.Liaise with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other relevant parties to ensure a timely and efficient property transfer process.Handle daily administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing appointment schedules.Organize and file documents, maintain accurate records, and carry out general office duties.Conduct property searches, obtain necessary certificates, and ensure all relevant documents are up to date.Keep up to date with changes to relevant legislation and regulations.Provide support to senior members of staff when required.RequirementsA minimum of one year s experience within a conveyancing or legal environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.Knowledge of relevant conveyancing procedures and legal terminology.A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
