Security technician

DescriptionOur company is seeking a Security Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our company s premises and assets. This includes monitoring security systems, identifying potential risks, and responding to emergencies. The ideal candidate should possess a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and operate security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.Conduct regular inspections to ensure all security equipment is functioning properly.Identify potential security risks and propose solutions to mitigate risks.Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, including assessing the situation, contacting authorities, and taking appropriate action.Maintain accurate incident records and reports.Work closely with other staff to maintain a secure and safe work environment.Stay current on security equipment, techniques, and procedures.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2-3 years of experience as a Security Technician or similar role.Knowledge of security equipment, procedures and techniques.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.Valid driver s license with a clean record.
