Security engineer

DescriptionOur company is seeking a talented Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining our security systems, as well as identifying and addressing potential security threats. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure our organization is protected from cyber attacks and other security risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network security, encryption protocols and secure coding practices.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement security measures to protect our computer systems and networksConduct vulnerability testing and risk assessmentsDevelop and implement security policies and proceduresCollaborate with the IT team to ensure security best practices are followedMonitor systems for security breaches or intrusions and investigate any incidentsInstall security software and firewalls to protect company systemsKeep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and solutionsRequirementsBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related fieldPrevious experience working as a Security Engineer or in a related fieldStrong knowledge of security protocols and network administrationExperience with cloud security and network security technologiesFamiliarity with security tools and software such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scannersAbility to identify and mitigate security risksCertifications in cybersecurity or related field is a plus.
