Salary: $27.50/hourDuties:Maintain harmonious and professional relationship with all departments and Home Office.Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.Conduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish the above task.Must be able to work with confidentiality and display good discretion.Must work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.Must have a commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures as they relate to the Finance Office.Establish and maintain all cash tips files.Manage operation employees, especially Food Beverage team in regard to their cash tips and ensure efficient follow-up action whenever needed.Sort and distribute daily cash tips and ensure the accuracy of the cash distribution.Collect and scan all daily paperwork from the property that is required by the outsource team.Handles all incoming letters and distributes them to the respective departments accordingly.Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.Calculate total payments received at end of work shift and reconcile with total salesProvide information to employeesGreet customers, Receive and process payments by cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit, Calculate foreign currency exchange,Calculate foreign currency exchangeCalculate and prepare daily cash tips report. Match final cash tips report to the actual cash on hand.Check to ensure accuracy of the cash tips distribution list provided by operation team.Follow up on missing paperwork for outsource team.Assist in other areas of the accounting office as needed.Perform all other tasks or projects assigned by hotel management.Requirements:Completion of Secondary School6 months experience in a Finance roleExcellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports, effective presentations and to facilitate meetings.Apply an ethical approach to influence the outcome of situations.Plan and monitor duties to ensure effective and efficient use of all available resources in order to make the greatest impact on the Hotel’s/Resort’s objectives.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to work with peers, superiors and clients.Serve as a role model for others by demonstrating appropriate business conduct and ethical principles.Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.Require a working technical knowledge of administrative skills.Ability to operate fax, scanner, copier, telephone, adding machine, calculator.Requires knowledge of and the ability to operate computer equipment and Microsoft Office softwareStrong command of the English language.Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.Ability to obtain a clean criminal record check.As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our service team to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.Great attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
