Entry level business analyst remote

The Business Analyst is responsible to work with system-users and other stakeholders to gather and document requirements, work with technical staff to translate requirements into design and test new or modified software programs to validate requirements have been met. This will include requirement gathering, documentation and prototyping. The analyst will review internal QA and development documentation to ensure that it meets the client business needs.Specific duties for our Business Analyst role include:Provide a connection between business owners and technical resources to provide realistic IT solutionsDevelop relationships with client stakeholdersConduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, prototypes, use cases, scenarios and other methodsAsk probing questions to ensure understanding of business needs and translate into technology capabilitiesWork with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize collected requirementsWork with technical staff to translate requirements to technical designDevelop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the development/product lifecyclesSupport the testing process to ensure that applications meet business requirements and system goals, fulfill end-user requirements and identify existing or potential issuesTrack issues identified while executing test plansVerify and revise quality assurance standards as neededCollaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load and acceptance testing methodsMake recommendations for improvement of applications to system analysts and development staffCommunicate test progress, test results and other relevant information to project stakeholders and managementCultivate and disseminate knowledge of business analysis best practicesMentor and coach team members in all areas of the existing system and new technologiesIf you are ready to join a fast paced team, apply today.EducationPreferredBachelors or better in Business AdministrationAssociates or better in Business Administration or related field Powered by Webbtree
