The Marketing Assistant will provide administrative support and assist with the creation of marketing materials and advertising campaigns for a wide array of commercial fiction, including romance, women’s fiction, science fiction/fantasy, mysteries, thrillers, and more. This is an ideal position for someone who is looking to begin a career in publishing!Specific responsibilities include:Provide extensive administrative support, including notetaking, circulating materials for approval, content gathering, and sending out mailingsBecome our Goodreads liaison, including setting up and fulfilling giveaways and providing help and support for our titles on the platformCoordinate seasonal and monthly promotions, including, but not limited to, book club giveaways, low price nomination grids, and excerpt releasesHelp to create promotional pieces and other sales and marketing materials as needed, such as Buzz Books nominationGenerate and post social media content on various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and InstagramCommunicate extensively with other internal departmentsAssist with title marketing as neededMaintain internal system data.Please apply if you meet the following minimum requirements:Prior office or related experienceExceptional writing, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and juggle tasks from multiple points of contactFamiliarity with office-based programs, e.g. Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or PagesKnowledge and experience working in various social media platforms a plusKnowledge of Photoshop or Canva a plus Powered by Webbtree
