Full time small business analyst remote

The Small Business Analyst will assist with the analysis and underwriting of small business loan requestsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Work with bank staff (primarily Small Business Liaison Officer and Credit Portfolio Manager) to obtain the necessary documentation required to analyze a small business loan request.Remain organized and be able to track multiple loan requests in various stages of production.Analyze financial data such as balance sheets, income statements, personal financial statements, tax returns, income growth, quality of management, market share, appraisals, entity structures, and overall borrower business plans in order to make recommendations with regards to credits. Includes analyzing credit information from other sources, lenders, and credit reporting agenciesConduct on-going verification and regular tracking of customer’s credit quality through periodic review of collateral values, valuation dates and methodology, credit reports and supplier checks, tracking and analysis of required financial information and any other approval conditionsWork with Loan Operations to ensure credit files are well-maintained with current, complete, and accurate information.Prepare checklists and maintain authorizations and documentationFollow and comply with all regulatory and compliance regulationsMay assist Credit Portfolio Manager on projects designed to bring efficiency to the underwriting process, expand bank product offerings, and provide insight on portfolio quality / trendsMay assist Credit Underwriting Manager with analysis of larger or more complex commercial requests, portfolio analysis, and reportsOther duties as assignedRequirements:Qualifications:Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesProven effective verbal and written communication skills, including writing efficientlyAbility to work in an ambiguous, fluid environment working on customized loan proposalsDemonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environmentAttention to detail and accuracy a mustAbility to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneouslyProficiency in MS Office / Power Platform Powered by Webbtree
