Job description:

This is a Work From Home Teleworking position. You must be able to come into the office for approximately 4 - 6 weeks of training and occasionally for additional meetings and various contract requirements.You must live within a 90 miles commuting radius of the work site.Case Processing Support:Logging in petitions; creating and labeling case foldersResearching casesPreparing and entering associated data in systemsMaintaining the integrity of the files within process units and file storageScanning documents and associating them to electronic case filesPutting case files in document orderIdentifying, reporting and obtaining missing documents for casesMail Room Support:Receiving, sorting, opening, organizing, date stamping as appropriate, and delivering incoming mail and casesOperating letter insertion and postage equipmentIdentifying and sorting mail, petitions and filesDelivering routing sheets/file requests to the appropriate unitsRequesting/receiving files from other units and delivering them to the appropriate unitsLogging and delivering messages; logging petitionsWeighing, labeling; pulling and packing out-going case filesCommunications Support:Logging and delivering messages; logging petitionsInputting call questions and/or email responses into tracking system; documenting every call/emailEscalating calls to supervisors as required by proceduresResolving caller questions promptly and efficientlyCommunicating answers clearly and correctly from scripted call response planReferencing answers from a computer while also rapidly typing notes into a systemIntermediate Computer Skills:Good interpersonal and professional communication skillsGood attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environmentCapable of working in a multi-task environment with rapidly changing prioritiesVery good command of the English Language; Spanish is a plusDemonstrate a professional work ethicAbility to pass a typing test of at least 40 WPM with no errorsIndividuals will be required to complete a background security investigation prior to beginning employment.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:One (1) to two (2) years of relevant administrative experience preferredAbility to pass a typing test of at least 35-40 WPM with no errorsExperience in an office/clerical environment is desiredIntermediate computer skills utilizing multiple monitors and active sessionsBasic use of MS Office including Excel, Word and EmailGood Interpersonal and Professional Communication SkillsGood attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environmentCapable of working in a multi-task environment with rapidly changing prioritiesVery good command of the English Language; Spanish is a plusDemonstrate a professional work ethicAbility to pass a thorough criminal background check and credit history to obtain and maintain a government clearance Powered by Webbtree
