L&T has set up its Knowledge City in the Vadodara in 2009 and has been in expansion mode ever since. Payment service MNC MasterCard, too, opened a technology centre in Vadodara. Information Security giant Indusface is headquartered in the city.
Vadodara also offers a number of other career options. For those into organic farming and agriculture, the city is a leading pulses and banana producer in the country.
